John

Synopsis: The Gospel of John was written by Jesus’ disciple which Scripture describes as the disciple whom Jesus loved. John presents the LORD Jesus Christ as being like an eagle high up in the heavens, the Almighty God above the Earth. John also wrote the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ and the three short epistles bearing his name: first, second and third John.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whomsoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing; but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:39-40
